The pilot episode featured in the trailer is entitled ‘Anodyne‘, and was rather fittingly directed by Once Upon A Time‘s Jennifer Morrison.

You can read the synopsis for Fabled here:

Fabled is an anthology series that upends the patriarchal norms of classic fairy tales. Directed by Jennifer Morrison and executive produced by Zosia Mamet, Evan Jonigkeit, Alex Gayner, and Refinery29, Fabled’s pilot entitled “Anodyne” follows the story of what it would look like if Alice (Zosia Mamet) from Alice in Wonderland crossed paths with Dorothy (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) from The Wizard of Oz.

The first episode of Fabled will premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. Get all the latest fantasy news with every issue of SciFiNow.
